Offering a discount to cardholders promotes your business to an expanded customer base. It also demonstrates that you recognise the contribution carers make to the community.
As well as joining the Carer Business Discount scheme, you can also sign-up for the Seniors Business Discount Card scheme. Whether you join one or both schemes, there are some great benefits for your business.
Business Discount Directory
Businesses registering with the scheme receive a free listing in one of the eight regional Business Discount Directories that are published annually. The directories help cardholders find local businesses offering discounts.
Cardholders are mailed a copy of their regional directory each year. Directories are also available from Queensland Government Agent Program offices, state member and electorate offices, Centrelink service centres and libraries.
Cardholders can also search for discounts online.
Promotional opportunities
As a participating business, you will receive in-store promotional stickers identifying your business as a supporter of the scheme. Cardholders are encouraged to look for and support businesses displaying the Carer Business Discount Card logo. Businesses can also order free promotional material online.
