Community recovery support and assistance
Queensland Bushfires 2009
Financial assistance is available to Queensland residents experiencing loss or financial hardship, as a direct result of bushfires occurring since 22 September 2009.
This assistance is available in the local government area of Somerset until Tuesday 10 November.

Pacific Islands and Asian Disasters
Information and support is available to victims, family and friends affected by the recent tsunami in Samoa and Tonga, and earthquakes in Indonesia and the Philippines.
This information is also available in Filipino, Indonesian, Samoan, Tongan and Vietnamese.
Swine Influenza 2009 (Influenza A H1N1 Influenza)
If Health Officials have identified you or a member of your family as having flu-like symptoms related to the human swine influenza you and members of your family may be asked to remain in home quarantine until cleared to resume your normal daily routine.
