The Department of Communities has a lead agency role in providing support to individuals and communities affected by the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam, the Wyaralong Dam and the Cedar Grove Weir.


Community support

The Department of Communities has implemented a range of strategies to support residents affected by the government's decision to build dams in the Traveston Crossing and Wyaralong regions. In addition, the department works collaboratively with other government departments to identify and address issues of concern to affected residents.
