The Samoan, Tongan, Indonesian and Philippine governments are leading recovery and reconstruction efforts in their respective countries in response to the recent tsunami and earthquakes.

If you are in Queensland and need assistance:
The Queensland Government is working with the federal government and other states to provide help to the affected communities.
For interpreter or counselling support, visit Queensland Health or call 13 Health (13 43 25 84)
For local support, contact your nearest your nearest Neighbourhood Centres.
The Australian Government is also providing immediate and additional assistance to the people who have been affected by the disaster and are encouraged to visit the Centrelink website.
