Redress Scheme
Applications for Redress payments closed on 30 September 2008. No further applications can be received.
Assessment of all Level 1 and Level 2 applications is complete. Notification to applicants on the outcome of all Level 2 applications is currently underway.
Applicants who deferred the Level 1 payment will be re-offered the Level 1 payment, and if approved for a Level 2 payment will be offered a combined Level 1 and Level 2 payment. Applicants can choose to either accept or reject this offer. Before payments can be made, these applicants must return a signed Deed of Release witnessed by their legal representative.
Successful Level 2 applicants who have previously received a Level 1 payment, are required to confirm the preferred method of payment and details of their bank account, if they wish the payment to be directly deposited. Payments to these approved applicants will commence as soon as responses are received in Redress Services.
