Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Workforce Development
The Minister's Awards for Excellence in Workforce Development are for non-government organisations in the community and disability service sectors.
These awards recognise value and celebrate good practice through showcasing strategies being used by organisations to build the capacity of their workers and enhance services to their clients.
Winners of the 2008 Minister's Awards for Excellence in Workforce Development were announced at a presentation ceremony in Brisbane on 18 November 2008.
There were five categories of awards presented:
- Effective Leadership by a Board of Management
- Encouraging a Learning Culture
- Excellence in Culturally Inclusive Workforce Development Practices
- Achievement in Collaboration
- Sector Recognition of Excellence in Workforce Development.
