Enhancing Access Project Grants
Small grants are available to assist with licensed operator registration and activity costs for those who may otherwise be unable to participate in the Award.
The Enhancing Access Project Grants are one-off grants to help offset the costs of establishing the Award program in your school or organisation. The grants cover the initial costs of registration for the licensed operator, and subsidise participant fees and activity related expenses for organisations and young people.
The funding aims to increase the diversity of young people participating in the Award by removing financial barriers for at-risk young people. Target groups may include:
- young people with a disability
- Indigenous young people
- young people experiencing homelessness
- young people from culturally and linguistically diverse groups
- young people involved or at risk of being involved in the youth justice system
- young people at risk of disengaging from training or schooling
- young people experiencing financial difficulty.
If your organisation is interested in applying for a grant you will need to respond to the application criteria and specify how the grant will assist in increasing the participation of at-risk young people.
More information about the grants and the application process is available on the application form . You can also contact the State Award Office to find out more about the grants and the application process.
