Community consultations will give community members a chance to have their say, raise questions or issues and keep informed of the Safe Haven project.
Community meetings will be advertised throughout each local community.
Local Community Project Groups are another way for community members to have their say on how a Safe Haven service will be developed and managed. These groups will be responsible for the decision making and management of the project.
Working together
The Commonwealth and State Governments are committed to working in true partnership with communities, ensuring all children and young people are free from the effects of domestic and family violence.
As the Safe Haven services are implemented, the Department of Communities will carry out evaluations.
