    A series of events to celebrate Seniors Week 2009, including a picnic in the park, ten pin bowling, morning teas and a portrait exhibition to highlight the interests, achievements and ambitions of local Seniors in Townsville. Please contact Nev Abbey for details.

  2. Living through Seniors Eyes

    The launch of a book that details the experiences and contributions of seniors in the Cloncurry community, comprising of a series of short stories and images.

  3. Sharing Culture & Community

    The event celebrates older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds living in the Cairns region who have contributed to vibrancy of this community

  4. Ngooderi Learning Gala Day

    Ngooderi Learning will be launched at Ngooderi House with traditional music, singing and dancing from local performers and school children. Ngooderi Gala will incorporate a smorgasboard of traditional foods with children engaged in the preparation and cooking. Also, Indigenous arts and crafts will be demonstrated and on display. Transport to and from the venue will be provided for all attendees.
