Seniors Week
Seniors Week 2010 will be held from Saturday 14 to Sunday 22 August 2010.
Community organisations throughout Queensland are invited to apply for funding to support events and projects during Seniors Week 2010.
The funding is available for projects that celebrate the contribution of seniors in Queensland and raise awareness of services available.
Applications up to $5000 will be considered for individual Seniors Week activities.
Submissions close 4pm on Monday 14 December 2009.
The Queensland Government supports Seniors Week celebrations to promote positive attitudes towards older people and ageing, encourage older people to lead active lifestyles, and to foster inter-generational relationships.
