Seniors and the Law
The Seniors and the Law booklet is one example of the State Government's ongoing commitment to supporting seniors. It was developed by the Department of Communities in partnership with the Queensland Law Society and with assistance from a range of other government departments and community organisations.
The booklet provides information within a Queensland context about prominent legal issues that particularly impact on seniors. It does not provide all the answers, as each person's situation and experiences are different. However, the aim is to alert seniors about pertinent aspects to be aware of in each of the legal situations described.
