Quick service for seniors
Queensland seniors now have a quick and easy way to apply for a Seniors Card or change their details. Now they can:
- phone Smart Service Queensland during business hours (8am-6pm, Monday to Friday) on 13 13 04 or freecall 1800 175 500
- visit www.qld.gov.au/seniorscard
- visit one of 68 Queensland Government Agent Program (QGAP) counters state wide.

The Department of Communities administers the Seniors Card program, providing more than 500,000 cardholders with access to discounts at 8,000 business outlets throughout Queensland.
The Queensland Government delivers concessions to Seniors Card holders on public transport, electricity and ambulance, motor vehicle and boat registration, fishing, dental, spectacles supply, medical aids, and electricity life support. This range of concessions is one of the most generous packages in Australia, valued at more than $30 million each year.
The new 2005-2006 Seniors Card Discount Directory will be sent to all membership households in July and August. There will be seven local editions available this year with useful information about discounts throughout Queensland.
