The Bridge Award

You don’t need to wait until you're 14 to go on an Adventurous Journey!

Get involved in Bridge and you can explore caves and beaches, go fishing and indoor rock climbing and get recognised for it!


What you need to know about the Bridge Award

The Bridge Award is about challenge, adventure and achievement. Bridge is an Award for Queenslanders aged 11 and a half to 14, giving you access to a wide range of opportunities during the Award and providing the perfect lead-in to the internationally recognised Dukes Award. The Bridge Award is also suitable for young people over the age of 14 who, due to special circumstances, are unable to participate in Dukes.

Bridge Award levels and sections

The Bridge Award features two different levels, level one and level two and four sections. Find out more about the requirements and sections for each level and get started.

Bridge rules and requirements

The Bridge Award is flexible, making sure you can pursue your interests in completing the Award. We keep the number of rules to a minimum but there are some rules that will guide you. Check out the requirements for Bridge.

How to apply for the Bridge Award

Registering for Bridge is as easy as 1-2-3. Whether you want to join as a participant, volunteer or licensed operator you can find all the information you need right here.
